• Our 'Values for Living'

As a school, our vision is to see 'Every Child Flourishing'. We seek to give our pupils the best possible start to their education, which will enable them to grow into flourishing and successful teenagers and adults.

Our core Christian 'Values for Living' distinguish us as a Church school, and are the principles which guide the thinking, behaviour and relationships of all involved in the school. The explicit ways in which staff, children and governors articulate and demonstrate these 'Values for Living' are part of our character and culture. They are our shared moral code, guiding the expectations of behaviour and relationships of all who are part of this school. 

Our 'Values for Living' are:

Love     Thankfulness      Forgiveness      Grace     Compassion      Community

Throughout the year we focus on and celebrate each of the individual Christian values, in Collective Worship, in classrooms and around the school. Pupil 'Value Ambassadors' champion our Values by noticing them in action and helping the whole school celebrate these moments.

In essence…we aim to share God’s LOVE with each other through acts of kindness and thoughtfulness, and showing FORGIVENESS to others when things go wrong.

We demonstrate COMPASSION, supporting others in whatever way we can, whatever the circumstances.

When we act with GRACE we do not treat each other as we might deserve to be treated, but our actions are guided by love, forgiveness and compassion.

Our ‘attitude of gratitude’ reminds us to be THANKFUL for all that we have been given; and finally we aim to live out our Christian 'Values for Living', demonstrating them to all within our COMMUNITY.
