PREMISES MANAGER / Administrative Assistant
SALARY & BENEFITS: £24,232 p.a. (£20,643.80 pro rata for 39 weeks)
WORKING HOURS: 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year, plus holiday work as required
The Gerrards Cross CE School is an outstanding primary school in Buckinghamshire looking to appoint a new office based Premises Manager to look after the school’s facilities and grounds ensuring that all Health and Safety standards are adhered to, and to liaise with various contractors to oversee any work on school grounds.
THE ROLE: The school is seeking an organised, flexible and resourceful Premises Manager who will ensure that the School provides pupils with the safest and best possible learning environment.
Key Responsibilities to include:-
- To manage all matters concerning school buildings and facilities.
- To take responsibility of management of all aspects of Health and Safety within the School.
- To take a hands on approach to some practical site activities.
- To take responsibility for distinct areas of school administration and to liaise with the Business Manager to ensure the smooth and effective running of the school office.
THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate for this position will need to be a highly resourceful individual with the ability to communicate with a range of contractors and colleagues at all levels. Attention to detail is crucial; you will ideally have experience in a previous administration role. Knowledge and understanding of school operations would be highly advantageous.
